13 weeks of Super League Football So have come and gone, and we could only be appreciative of the good football we all have witnessed so far. As Zedbola, we have taken the initiative to present you with a review of the football witnessed so far, here we go:
To earn the title of “Tightest Defence So Far” is high-flying Nkwazi FC. The Lusaka-based side has proven to be a hard nut to crack for their opponents and this is evidenced by the fact that they have only conceded 8 goals out of 13 games played so far, giving them a ratio of 0.6 goals per game, the lowest in the league.
To earn the title of “Best Attack So Far” is Green Buffaloes FC. The Army Men, so they are known, have been blowing aside all their opponents, a form that has seen them score 21 goals so far, the most compared to other teams in the league, giving them a ratio of 1.6 goals per game. Recording 8 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss, gives them a 6-point advantage at the summit of the log.
To earn the title of “Weakest Defence So Far” is Indeni FC. The Ndola-based team is experiencing a tough 2nd season since promotion, which has led to them conceding 19 goals so far, giving them a ratio of approximately 1.5 goals conceded per game. Their current form sees them occupythe 15th position on the log, one of the relegation slots.
To earn the title of “Best Player So Far” is Friday Samu. It’s obvious that the title goes to a Green Buffaloes FC player, Samu has been in red hot form this season and has already made some history when he bagged 5 goals in one match. His form this season has seen him bag 11 goals, which represents 52% of the goals GBFC has scored this season.
