First up is Patson Daka who could easily be enjoying his best form yet in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg, with amazing performances in the UEFA Champions League, domestic league and cup games as he has scored a total of 17 goals as well as bagging 3 assists in 26 games so far. Patson currently occupies 3rd place on the top scorers’ chart just 3 goals shy from top spot, his goals just in the league alone represent 21.2% of the goals scored by Red Bull Salzburg.
Next up is Shepolopolo super star Barbra Banda, who as well was enjoying good form in the Spanish top tier Women’s league which resulted in her moving to Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shengli. Barbra for the Spanish side this season found the back of the net 7 times while bagging 4 assits in just 11 games and it could be translated that she had a goal involvement in all the games she played. It makes perfect sense why the Chinese side went calling for her services.
Enock Mwepu follows up with his mercurial performances in Austria. It’s no joke that he is called “Computer” as he has lived up to the name by gaining the head coach’s trust, which has led him to playing a total of 20 games from a possible 26; representing 76.9% of the games Red Bull Salzburg have played. His performances have been highlighted by his superb movement on and off the ball, brilliant passing, dribbling, box to box movement, pre-assists and assists. All of this indicates that more is yet to come for now we wait.
Up next is hitman Mwape Musonda. Although his team may be struggling he however isn’t, as he has been trying to constantly be their source of motivation after finding the back of the net 4 times grabbing 2 assists in just 12 games for Black Leopards in the league which can be translated into a 50% goal involvement for his team that is not bad by any means.
Another hitman is Fashion Sakala who is having a good time in the Belgian League with Oostende. The superstar has enjoyed good form as he has scored a total of 8 goals grabbing 4 assists out of 29 games that he has played, making his goal involvement 12 representing 41.4% whenever he has played.
The Russsian Premier League is on a break and the Zambian trio of Evans Kangwa, Kings Kangwa and Lameck Banda will only get a chance to get some minutes when the league gets back, however, here is a look at their individual stats Evans Kangwa has scored 3 goals and has played a total of 13 games, Kings Kangwa has only played 2 games while Lameck Banda has had better fortunes and has played a total of 7 games (5 in the league and 2 in the Europa League).
Defensive kingpin Stoppila Sunzu playing for French Ligue 1 side Metz has his work cut out for him as he has to contain the likes of Neymar, Mbappe, Dembele, Depay. Sunzu for Metz has played a total of 17 games out of 20 proving that he is a trusted figure in the team setup.
Orlando Pirates FC duo of Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga did not make it in the team that faced and beat Mamelodi Sundowns but will however look to feature as they lock horns with Highlands park.
