Zed CAF Envoys

Zesco united arrived in the Tunisian city of Sousse on the 13th for the CAF champions league match after a long journey from Lusaka Saturday evening aboard Emirates via Dubai and landed at Tunis Carthage Airport 13:40hrs local time.
They then took a 2 hour bus ride to Sousse where they are holed up for the crunch game with Etoile Sportive du Sahel on Wednesday. The team is staying at the Marhaba Resort Hotel and had a successful training session the following morning helping them acclimatise the atmosphere.

ZESCO UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB ENGAGED IN THE CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ON 16TH MAY, 2018

ZESCO United football club (ZUFC) is engaged in the 22nd edition of the Total CAF Champions league second round of matches, against Etoile Sportive Du Sahel of Tunisia at Stade Olympique de Sousse on 16 May, 2018 starting at 20:00 local time.

Zesco is in group D, together with Etoile of Tunisia, Mbabane Swallows of Etswatini, formally Swaziland and 1’ de Agosto of Angola. CAF Championships league group D failed to produce a clear winner in the first round of matches with similar 1-1 draws in matches played in Ndola and Luanda on 5th May, 2018.
