U20 CALL UP FOR BURUNDI

Zambia under-20 national team assistant coach Charles Bwale has named four foreign based players in his provisional 28 member squad to face Burundi in the 2019 Niger Africa Cup of Nations first leg final round qualifier.

According to the provisional list released to FAZfootball.com by team manager Mwansa Kapyanga, the squad comprise Sweden based Edward Chilufya (Djurgardens), Lifumpa Mwandwe (Shrewsbury Town), Kings Kangwa (Hapoel Be’ersheva) and the highly rated Mwiya Malumo (Wigan Athletic).

The team enters residential camp on Sunday 17th June, 2018 in Lusaka and may play some international friendly matches before facing Burundi on July 14 in Lusaka and July 21 in Ngozi.
Winner over two legs will qualify to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Zambia are the reigning champions after having lifted the trophy on home soil in 2017.
