“IT WAS NOT EASY” – BRANCO

Trident Football Club media team caught up with head coach Israel ‘Branco’ Mwanza to get his reaction towards the historical ABSA Cup qualification achieved by the team. Below is what he said:

“I am happy the team managed to work extra hard and qualify for ABSA cup which is not an easy thing to do because National League is a tough league.” Coach Israel Mwanza said.

“I believe this qualification is a motivation factor to the boys to help them do well in the second half of the season.” he further added.

“On the issue of reinforcing the team, we will try to add three to four players to create a healthy competition in the team even as we prepare for ABSA cup and the second half of the season.”

“Our objective is to win the league and play elite football next season.” Coach ‘Branco’ said.
