          The Zambian Super League created in 1962 has only been won by 11 teams who have shared it 58 times, Nkana Fc seat proudly at the top of the record chart claiming the title 12 times and the closest is Mufulira Wanderers who have won the championship 9 times, then Zesco United follows a record of 8 league victories, Zanaco with 7 titles, Green Buffaloes and Power Dynamos with 6 titles each, Kabwe Warriors with 5 titles, Nchanga Rangers with 2 titles then follows City of Lusaka, Red Arrows and Roan United with 1 title respectively.          Zambian football has always been home to some immensely talented goal scorers and this section will talk about the goal poachers who have proudly donned the colours of the Chipolopolo and have set records: Godfrey “Ucar” Chitalu sits comfortably at the top of the goal scoring charts with 79 goals for the Chipolopolo, Alex Chola comes in second with 43 goals, Kalusha Bwalya comes third with 39 goals, Bernard Chanda comes fourth with 29 goals, Christopher Katongo comes fifth with 23 goals, Collins Mbesuma comes sixth with 22 goals, Dennis Lota comes seventh with 21 goals, Kenneth Malitoli comes eight 19 goals, James Chamanga comes ninth with 17 goals and finally Rainford Kalaba come in tenth with 15 goals.

          Our very own Lazarous Kambole is the player with the Fastest Hat-trick ever scored in CAF Champions League football, which he achieved in just 5 minutes. This is a record that can’t be rivaled by any hat-trick recorded in the famous UEFA Champions League. A breakdown of Kambole’s goals is as follows: (1st goal) 38mins, (2nd goal) 40mins and finally (3rd goal) 43mins.

          The Chipolopolo holds the record of going undefeated at two consecutive AFCON tournaments; a feat that was achieved during the 2012 and 2013 editions, emerging victorious in the 2012 edition and getting knocked-out in the 2013 edition after getting consecutive draws thus consolidating the fact that Chipolopolo went undefeated at two consecutive editions of AFCON.
