CHIPOLOPOLO ADVANCE TO THE FINAL

After a cracking game, Chipolopolo made it passed Senegal to set up a clash with Namibia. Both teams gave fans a 7-goal thriller as the game ended 4-3 to Zambia. Zambia opened the scoring via a Kelvin Kampamba cracker, soon after Senegal equalized, however, Sautu had other plans as he restored Zambia’s lead, which they took to halftime. In the second half Zambia played more direct, as a result, two goals were scored by Ricky Banda and Kelvin Kampamba.

Senegal complicated proceedings for the Chipolopolo, as they came up with two goals of their own, making sure that the game’s last minutes ended on a tense note, giving the final result of 4-3.

The 2022 COSAFA Cup final will be played this Sunday as Zambia will aim to increase their trophy collection, while Namibia will aim to earn the title of 2022 COSAFA CUP CHAMPIONS.
