In the wake of what can be labelled as poor performances considering the standards of Nkana FC, head coach Beston Chambeshi has been placed on administrative leave by Nkana FC. It is reported that the team’s recent string of poor results has prompted a strategic decision to reassess the technical bench at the helm of the club.

Now former first assistant George Chilufya will take over as head coach.
