“BELIEVE IN US AND WE SHALL DELIVER”

Shepolopolo goalkeeper Hazel Nali sat down for an interview and below is what she said:

“It’s a great experience and basically I just want to thank God because he’s the one that has made each and every appearance for me possible, without him I couldn’t have done it and it’s a motivation to me myself and of course, to the team, because I’m coming here for the third time and obviously I just need to be prepared to help the team with the experience that I’m bringing.”

“So far so good, I think the preparations are going on well, everyone is working so hard and I feel everyone is excited about the games ahead of us.”

“The main discussion is to start with a bang because I know that the first game is always important and I feel everyone is excited about the first game because if we start with a bang it will give us a direction on how to play the other two games.”

“Each and every game in this tournament is important like I said earlier on and as it stands in Women’s football no team is small or big, all that matters is how you take each game and we shall take each game as it comes, one game at a time, we shall not rush into thinking one game is easy compared to another as we shall take all the games seriously.”

“Friendlies we have as well as those ahead of us are an insight of how we need to prepare before games that we shall play, because as a team we may have made some minor mistakes in our play which the coaches have worked on, such as attacking more and conceded less or non, which would be well and good for us and that’s what we are working on.”

“My main objective is to help the team win each and every game and if that was to happen, I’d have the chance to get the player of the match award as well as the golden glove, which is something we’ve managed to collect those awards at the previous COSAFA tournament.”

“My word to the fans is that they should continue supporting us as they do always because it’s only their support that will keep us focused, so we need them to support as well as believe in us and we will deliver.”
