ARMY ABROAD STATS SO FAR

The year 2019 is still fresh and most of the teams world over are yet to play their first games of the year, however, that doesn’t mean our players abroad haven’t bagged some records and here are some of them in this continuation of players abroad:

Lubambo Musonda

Known for his pace and trickery in the Armenian Premier league, Lubambo has been at it all season as he has racked up 17 appearances in the league grabbing 5 goals with his most recent goal coming in the last game he played for his team which was the last game of the 2018 calendar year.

Jacob Mulenga

Some say with age a player’s skill tends to diminish but that hasn’t been the case with this hitman. Mulenga has been the go to guy for Liaoning Shenyang Kaixin FC in China making 25 appearances and bagging 14 goals making him the team’s top goal scorer.

Stoppila Sunzu

It’s safe to call him “Mr Reliable” for his side Fc Metz, out of 18 games he has played 17 of them; grabbing a goal and conceding 12 goals only, making his defensive partnership the second best in ligue 2.

Barbra Banda

Referred to as “the best female footballer in Zambia” by some Zambian football enthusiasts and with her skill set it is understandable why many would think so. After sealing a move to Spain Barbra has been in red hot form for Escuelas de Fútbol de Logroño making 7 appearances and scoring 4 goals while set up a goal for a teammate in just a little over a month.

For the last one we talk about a player who is lighting up the Tanzanian League and its no other than Clatous Chota Chama.

The amount of adoration and love he has gained from the Simba SC faithfuls in such a short amount of time should be an indicator of how good he is, a section of fans describe his skills as being “too smooth, in fact smoother than the back of a spoon” and we agree. If Clatous Chota Chama isn’t scoring goals then he is busy creating chances for his teammates; as his technical ability can only be matched by a few and he is the perfect role model as his level of professionalism both on and off the field is outstanding.
