“WE NEED TO WIN THIS TIME”
Speaking on arrival from his base in Tanzania, Bwalya says the team may have missed out on qualification to the final round of the World Cup qualifiers but believes that the progress they have been making puts them in good stead for forthcoming games.
“We are looking forward to the game against Mauritania and we need to win this time. We need to get a result and continue playing together and continue bonding,” he says.“I think if someone is not motivated to come and watch this game, then they are looking at the short term. If you look at the long term, playing together, starting now, I think will help us in the next qualifiers because we need to bond.” Bwalya says the team may have gone through a rough patch but will bounce back having started to gel.
The player, also known as Soft Touch further went on to say “These games are helping us bond even the coming games, even the friendlies that are going to be prepared by FAZ, I think these are the games that are going to keep us together and be one. This is great preparation for the future,” he ended.
