ZANACO IN QUARTERFINALS

The Lusaka based side is Zambia’s only hope in continental football as they have made to the next stage after drawing 1-1 with Moroccan side Berkane.

Zanaco survived the scare after Alain Traore thrust Berkane ahead as early as two minutes into the game, Zanaco responded through Rodgers Kola five minutes before half-time forcing an own goal to conclude the contest in the first half. The Lusaka based team fin犀利士 ished second in group C after going undefeated, after collecting 10 point from 6 games in which they won 2 and drew 4; scoring 8 goals and conceding 4 only.

The “Sensational” they cal themselves have qualified alongside Pyramids FC(Egypt), Al-Masry(Egypt), Berkane FC(Morocco), Al-Nasr SC(Libya), Hassan US Agadir(Morocco), Horoya AC(Guinea) and Eyimba FC(Nigeria).
