PLAYERS ABROAD STATS SO FAR

With the Chipolopolo about to play their first home game since acquiring the services of Sven Vandenbroeck as head coach, the excitement in the air can almost be tasted as the opportunity to see our famed Chipolopolo don the Kopa branded jersey draws closer. In an attempt to supplement the already existing excitement Zedbola presents a compilation of the stats achieved by our players abroad,lets get straight into it;

First up is Prosper Chiluya who has evidently made himself at home in the United Soccer League playing for Bethlehem Steel in the United States. Chiluya’s Bethlehem Steel have played 16 games of which he has started 13 bagging himself a goal and 2 assists helping his side rise to position 6 on the log.

Up next is veteran striker Jacob Mulenga keeps scoring in the Chinese League One. In 22 games Jacob has bagged 13 goals giving him a rank of 15th among 317 players in the process helping his team to the position of 9th on the log.

Next is defensive kingpin Stoppila Sunzu who has proved to be solid as well as consistent at the back playing for Metz. Sunzu has played every minute available for his side as they seat atop the league undefeated in 9 games and bagging a total of 4 clean sheets along the way.

Next is fan favourite Enock “COMPUTER” Mwepu. There is no better way of calling him except from genius as he makes playing football easy with his trademark “Ninkumona” pass in assisting his team mates and coolly scoring goals with no pressure at all. Since the beginning of the season he has played 10 games scoring 2 goals in the process and as the chipolopolo play on Wednesday fans will be expecting to see more of his genius when he dons the Kopa kit.

Next is another favourite with so much potential that is about to be unleashed and its no other than Fashion Sakala who has hit the ground running in the Belgian pro league playing for KV Oostende. Since Fashion’s introduction to the Belgian Pro League he has played 7 games scoring 2 times.

Another one the crowd will want to see play against Guinea is Augustine Mulenga a.k.a Diego. Augustine’s break through to the Chipolopolo has been nothing short of revolutionary which resulted in his transfer to Orlando Pirates, where he is now playing for his second season in which he has played 7 games scoring 3 goals in the process.
