FAZ to soon name Wada Replacement

This is according to a Zambia Daily Mail report today quoting FAZ president Andrew Kamanga.Kamanga disclosed this to the Mail following a meeting of the FAZ executive committee last weekend.“Within two weeks a coach will be found because we do not have time, ” Kamanga is quoted by the paper saying. The FAZ president, however, said Football House does NOT have a name in mind to take over the resigned Wedson Nyirenda. While several coaches including former Chipolopolo boss Dario Bonetti and assistant Irfan Kawri have expressed interest, Kamanga said the FAZ executive had referred the matter of determining the new coach to the technical committee.“How can you predetermine who should come here? The matter has been sent to the technical committee. We have just sent the matter to the technical committee. They will meet this week and deal with it,” Kamanga told the paper after the Saturday exco meeting. And he emphasised that the technical committeewould now decide on the matter of the new coach.“There are important people in the technical committee. There is Patrick Kangwa, who was once upon a time chairman of ZAFCA (Zambia Football Coaches Association) and there is also Mr. Fred Mwila. These people know a lot about football.“These are experts and are going to guide on howwe go forward.”Kamanga further explained, “The meeting is goingto be held later in the week and the technical committee will report back to the executive committee and then a decision will be made and we will inform everybody.”Kamanga also expressed dislike for speculations over the new coach.“We don’t like speculation, we have not even advertised the job.“During our meeting on Saturday we did not mention any name of a coach, no one was mentioned. We just said the matter will be dealt with by the technical committee,” he said.[ Zambia Daily Mail]
