Official: FAZ DISCIPLINES THE ARMY MEN
Football Association of Zambia DC has fined Green Buffaloes FC K150,000 following the chaos at Arthur Davies Stadium in a week 11 fixture against table topers Power Dynamos on November 5th in a match that ended 1-0 in favor of the Buffaloes.
The team from Ndeke filed in a complaint to FAZ after the Green Buffaloes fans allegedly beat up some Power Dynamos fans. FAZ also stated that GBFC were not first time offenders and that had “pulled the same stunt on November 7, 2021, at Nkana Stadium during another league match.”
FAZ warned against allowing any uniformed personnel to involve themselves in any activity involving football on their match days, as they have shown clear disregard of statutes that govern the match day and their social responsibility as a club toward the betterment of the game
The club is expected to pay the fine within 7 days.
