2024 PARIS OLYMPICS QUALIFIERS REVEALED
In the second round of the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament, Paris 2024 qualifying matches, the Zambia Women’s National Team will play either Burkina Faso or Mali.
Along with six other nations, the Copper Queens, who will be vying for their second Olympic berth, were spared from the first round of the qualifiers. They will enter the qualifiers in the second round and will face the victor of a two-legged match between Burkina Faso and Mali.
The Copper Queens will face the overall winners of the games between Guinea Bissau and Benin and Ghana and Guinea if Bruce Mwape’s team advances past the second round.
If Bruce Mwape’s side gets past the second round, a date with the overall winners of the Guinea Bissau Vs Benin and Guinea Vs Ghana matches will be on the cards for the Copper Queens in the third round.
There will be a total of four rounds of qualification games, and the victors of the last two games will be guaranteed tickets to the summer Olympics in Paris.
The first round of matches will be played from July 10 through July 18, while the second round will be held from October 23 through October 31, 2023. The fourth round of matches will be played between 1-9 April 2024, and the third round will be played between 19-28 February 2024.
